Columbia coach Megan Griffith never thought she’d see the day when three Ivy League teams heard their names called on Selection Sunday.

That changed over the weekend when Harvard, Columbia and Princeton were announced among the 68-team field for the women’s NCAA Tournament.

It seemed likely throughout the season it could happen. Columbia, Harvard and Princeton ranked in the top 50 in NET for most of the season.

Harvard earned the league’s automatic bid after upsetting Columbia in the conference tournament title game Saturday night, which made for a comfortable Sunday for coach Carrie Moore and her team.
