With the highly anticipated release of Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie on the horizon, it’s officially Barbie Girl Summer.
A movie this bright and colorful based on a beloved childhood toy is sure to inspire some great merchandise and collaborations, and Impala Skates is getting the party started early with the release of their Barbie capsule collection, inspired by the same rollerblades Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will be wearing in the film as Barbie and Ken.
As we learned in the first trailer for the movie, Gosling’s Ken “literally go[es] nowhere without them.” Now you can too.

Impala’s inlines come with four 70mm 84a durometer wheels with Abec-7 bearings in straight alignment, though they can be adjusted into a rockered alignment if that’s your preference. There’s also an optional heel break and Allen wrenches included to attach the break. The skates are easy to put on with laces and a buckle and don’t require breaking in to get skating.
Impala’s Barbie-themed crew socks are tall enough to show above the boot of their rollerskates to keep the Barbie theme going beyond just the skates.
