It won’t be long until Tótem comes to a movie theater near you. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new drama!

Written and directed by Lila Avilés, Tótem follows seven-year-old Sol, who spends the day at her grandfather’s house while she and her family prepare for her father’s surprise birthday party, which will likely be his last.

So, where can you watch Tótem? Is it on Prime Video? What about Netflix?

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

As of now, the only way to watch Tótem is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Jan. 26. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.

Yes, Tótem will likely be available to rent or buy on Prime Video. While a release date has not yet been announced, most movies typically come to digital platforms around 45 days after they’re released in theaters. If Tótem follows the same trajectory, we could be watching it from the comfort of our living rooms by early March 2024.

No, Tótem will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.

No, Tótem will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. While it’s possible the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms in the meantime.
