The View

Avid fans of The View have likely noticed the daytime talk show is airing re-runs this week. But fret not, that does not mean we won’t be seeing Whoopi Goldberg and her co-hosts again any time soon.

This week, viewers got a chance to catch up on some of the show’s best episodes from Season 28, featuring appearances from Bill Murray, Nathan Lane, Sen. Raphael Warnock, and Daredevil stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio.

We also got to see Goldberg get into some antics as she pulled Samuel L. Jackson on stage to join them for their Hot Topics discussion and talked about the “great sex” she had in all three of her marriages. In another episode that re-aired this week, Goldberg and Alyssa Farah Griffin duked it out over President Trump’s proposed $5,000 baby bonus.

Daytime television is certainly not the same without the ladies debating about politics and culture. But it’s only a matter of time before The View returns with new episodes.

The View has not been canceled.

The View is taking its annual summer hiatus, which means Goldberg, Griffin, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin are taking some time off for the rest of the summer before the show returns with a brand new season. But they will be back in no time.

The View is expected to return with brand new episodes after Labor Day on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

For now, the show will continue airing re-runs on ABC until The View returns with a brand new season. But fans can continue tuning into The View on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC to catch up on some of the previous episodes and drama.
