


Can you believe it’s been an entire two weeks since The View Season 26 came to an end? We can’t either. Luckily, we have you covered on everything you need to know about when the hit daytime talk show will be back!
Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Joy Behar and Alyssa Farah Griffin were last seen in The View studio on Friday, Aug. 4. The group is currently taking a well-deserved break as they prepare for a new slate of riveting political discussions and fun celebrity interviews in Season 27.
So, why exactly is The View off the air today? When will it return?

Every year, the ladies take off for the majority of the month of August for a scheduled summer hiatus — meaning new episodes will, unfortunately, not air today or for the next few weeks. Instead, ABC will play reruns of previous episodes. Check out the full schedule below.
The co-hosts are set to return to The View for Season 27 after Labor Day. Since the rerun lineup is scheduled through Monday, Sept. 4, they should be back with new material the following day on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

The View might not be airing new episodes for the rest of the month, but ABC will be playing reruns, meaning you can catch up on anything you might’ve missed!
