The View is back on TV today, but loyal fans may notice that the episode feels a bit familiar.
The reason? The View is airing re-runs this week. The show began their week of vacation on Monday (April 14) and will be airing repeat shows through Friday (April 18). So, fans can expect to see some of their favorite moment that originally aired on The View in March and February.
Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin last appeared live on our screens April 11. That day, they chatted with guest Scott Galloway about President Donald Trump‘s tariff plan.
Galloway gave his honest thoughts, telling the panel, “We finally need to acknowledge, we have someone at the wheel of the global economy that is blackout drunk right now.”
Michelle Obama’s response to divorce rumors plaguing her relationship with President Barack Obama was also a Hot Topic that day, and co-host Joy Behar was notably absent from the show while out sick. We hope she can rest up and feel her best when The View returns next week!
In the meantime, here’s everything we know about The View‘s spring hiatus.
The View is not airing a new live episode this morning. Fans tuning in were instead treated to a re-run of an episode that originally aired on March 11, during which Sen. Elissa Slotkin and Julian Lennon stopped by.
The View has not been canceled. The show is taking a spring hiatus from April 14 through April 18, after which they will return with new episodes. The re-run schedule for the rest of the week is as follows, courtesy of ABC:
Thursday, April 17 (Originally aired March 11, 2025) – The Political View with Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.); Julian Lennon (exhibition, “Reminiscence”; author, “Life’s Fragile Moments”)
Friday, April 18 (Originally aired Feb. 21, 2025)– Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio (actors, “Daredevil: Born Again”); Antoni Porowski (host, “No Taste Like Home”)
