NextImg:Is ‘The Kill Room’ Streaming on Netflix or HBO Max?

More On:

Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson and Joe Manganiello are just some of the big names starring in The Kill Room, which is coming to theaters this week. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new dark comedy thriller!

The Kill Room — which also features Thurman’s famous daughter, Maya Hawke — follows an art dealer, a hitman and his boss as they team up for a money laundering scheme that “accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight Avant-Garde sensation,” according to the film’s logline.

So, where can you watch The Kill Room? Is it on Prime Video? What about Netflix?

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

As of now, the only way to watch The Kill Room is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Sept. 29. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.

While a digital release date for The Kill Room has not yet been announced, most movies typically come to digital platforms like Prime Video around 45 days after they’re released in theaters. If The Kill Room follows the same trajectory, we could be watching it from the comfort of our living rooms by mid-November 2023.

No, The Kill Room will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. While it’s possible the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms in the meantime.

No, The Kill Room will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.
