It’s been a rough start to 2025, but thankfully Keke Palmer and SZA are delivering some much-needed laughter with their new movie opening in theaters this weekend, One of Them Days.
Directed by Lawrence Lamont, with a screenplay written by Syreeta Singleton, this new buddy comedy pairs up Emmy-winning actor Keke Palmer with Grammy-winning musical artist SZA. SZA stars as Alyssa, a woman down on her luck after her boyfriend steals her rent money. Now Alyssa and her roommate Dreux (Palmer) must race against the clock to scrounge up the rent—or face eviction.
The film was produced by Insecure creator Issa Rae via her Hoorae Media production company, and the supporting cast includes Maude Apatow, Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, and Katt Williams. One of Them Days will only be available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in the U.S. nationwide on Friday, January 17. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. One of Them Days is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.
One of Them Days is not currently streaming on Netflix or Amazon, because the movie is being released in theaters, only. Right now, the only way to watch One of Them Days is in a movie theater. That said, because One of Them Days is a Sony movie, we do expect to see it streaming on Netflix eventually.
You will be able to purchase One of Them Days on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream One of Them Days on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription. If you want to watch the One of Them Days movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait for it to stream on Netflix.
One of Them Days will likely be on Netflix sometime in the first half of 2025.
