If you’re feeling a certain crispness in the air, it’s probably because NFL football has returned!

Okay, NFL preseason football… but… ya know… football is football. Thursday night delivered three games as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Indianapolis Colts, the Philadelphia Eagles were victorious over the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Seattle Seahawks and Las Vegas Raiders game ended in a 23-23 tie.

The Eagles’ backups showcased some starting talent as QB 2 Tanner McKee torched Cincy’s defense, going 20-25 with two TDs and adding a rushing touchdown. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase were already in midseason form, with Burrow completing nine out of ten passes and throwing for two TDs, and Chase adding 77 yards on four receptions.

Sunday Night Football officially begins Sunday, September 7 when the Buffalo Bills host the Baltimore Ravens at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Is there a Sunday Night Football preseason game on tonight? Great question.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Nope. There’s no Sunday Night Football game on tonight.

Week 2 begins on Friday, August 15 with an NFL Network doubleheader. The first game is a battle between the Titans and Falcons (7:00 p.m. ET), while game two features the Seahawks hosting the Chiefs (10:00 p.m. ET).

The first (and only) Sunday night preseason game airs Sunday, August 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX when the Bills and Bears collide in Chicago.

The first regular season Sunday Night Football game takes place on Sunday, September 7 when the Bill host the Ravens at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
