Saturday Night Live returned from hiatus last week (May 3) with a strong episode featuring host Quinta Brunson and musical guest Benson Boone. The Abbott Elementary star delivered a fun musical monologue that featured Sabrina Carpenter and former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade, had another altercation with Mikey Day and Chloe Fineman, and ended the night portraying boxer Jerry “Jackrabbit” Tulane.
The episode was Brunson’s second time hosting the show, and the multi-hyphenate is quickly becoming an SNL favorite. But what does the future hold for the legendary late-night sketch series?
Two episodes remain in the show’s historic 50th season, with Scarlett Johansson set to host the season finale on Saturday, May 17. Is Saturday Night Live new tonight? Great question. Here’s everything you need to know.
Yes! Tonight is the penultimate episode of Season 50.
This week’s episode will be hosted by a first-timer: Walton Goggins! The Righteous Gemstones/White Lotus star will take the stage along with musical guest Arcade Fire.
Next week! Scarlett Johansson hosts with musical guest Bad Bunny on Saturday, May 17.
