Saturday Night Live returned from hiatus last week (May 3) with a strong episode featuring host Quinta Brunson and musical guest Benson Boone. The Abbott Elementary star delivered a fun musical monologue that featured Sabrina Carpenter and former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade, had another altercation with Mikey Day and Chloe Fineman, and ended the night portraying boxer Jerry “Jackrabbit” Tulane.

The episode was Brunson’s second time hosting the show, and the multi-hyphenate is quickly becoming an SNL favorite. But what does the future hold for the legendary late-night sketch series?
