John Wick, but make it Christmastime? We’re in! From director John Woo and producers of the long-running action franchise comes Silent Night. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new flick!
After a father (played by Joel Kinnaman) watches his young son die in the crossfire of a gang fight on Christmas Eve, he makes it his life’s mission to avenge his son’s death.
So, where can you watch Silent Night? Is it on Netflix? What about Max?
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:
As of now, the only way to watch Silent Night is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on Friday, Dec. 1. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube or Apple.
While a digital release date has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate on when Silent Night will become available to rent or purchase based on a previous movie distributed by Lionsgate. Saw X joined digital on Oct. 20 — about three weeks after its theatrical debut. If Silent Night follows the same trajectory, you may be able to watch from the comfort of your home as early as Friday, Dec. 22.
No, Silent Night will likely not be available on Max (previously known as HBO Max) since it is not a Warner Bros. Discovery film.
No, Silent Night will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. While it’s possible the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms in the meantime.
