Where to Stream:

Red One

Powered by Reelgood

After just over a month in theaters, Amazon’s latest holiday film, Red One, is now streaming on Prime Video just in time for Christmas.

Red One reunites director Jake Kasdan with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson after they collaborate on two Jumanji films on this new, original Christmas movie. It stars Johnson as Callum Drift, the head of North Pole security who is assigned to protect Santa Claus (J.K. Simmons). When a mysterious villain kidnaps Santa, Callum is forced to team up with Jack O’Malley (Chris Evans), a hacker with a permanent spot on the Naughty List, to bring Santa home in time for Christmas Eve.

If a holiday family movie night is in your future, Red One makes an entertaining and, yes, free option. Keep reading to find out how to stream it.

Yes! Red One is free on Prime Video for Amazon Prime subscribers.

You’ll need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to watch Red One on Prime Video.

If you aren’t a Prime Video subscriber already, it’s easy to get started. All new members get a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial, including Prime perks like free two-day shipping, exclusive deals, and more. After the trial ends, Amazon Prime costs $14.99/month or $139/year.

Between the ages of 18 and 24-year-olds? Regardless of your student status, you are eligible for a discounted Prime for Young Adults membership as well with age verification. After a six-month free trial, you’ll pay 50% off the standard Prime monthly price of $14.99/month — just $7.49/month — for up to six years and get all the perks.
