We’re under a month away from the start of the 2024-2025 regular season. Many NFL fans are in full research mode as they zero in on fantasy football sleepers and intriguing futures bets to place before the regular season begins on Thursday, September 5 when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Baltimore Ravens on NBC, Peacock, and NFL+.
Just like like season, Monday Night Football games will primarily air on ESPN, with select matchups available on ABC. Thursday Night Football will once again belong to Prime Video, with Amazon broadcasting 16 regular season games and one preseason matchup (Indianapolis Colts @ Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, August 22). Finally, NBC and Peacock will be the home of Sunday Night Football.
That’s the future; what about the present? Is Monday Night Football on tonight? Here’s everything you need to know.
Nope. Sadly, there’s no Monday Night Football game tonight.
Oddly enough, there are no preseason Monday Night Football games scheduled for the 2024-2025 preseason. The first Monday night game of the season takes place Monday, September 9 when the San Francisco 49ers host the New York Jets in Week 1 (8:15 on ABC and ESPN).
Monday Night Football will air primarily on ESPN (and NFL+), but ABC and ESPN+ will also broadcast games throughout the season. Weeks 3, 4, 7, and 15 of MNF offer doubleheaders.

If you have a valid cable login, Monday Night Football will be available to watch live on ESPN, Watch ESPN, or the ESPN app.
You can also stream MNF live with an active subscription to fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, DirecTV Stream, NFL+, or YouTube TV. FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV offer free trials for eligible subscribers.
