There was a lot of NFL action this weekend… and the intrigue wasn’t limited to the playing field. Not only did HBO’s Hard Knocks return to give us a sneak peek of Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, but Netflix’s Untold delivered a banger of an episode, exploring the life and career of controversial former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. Also, there was actual NFL football!
It was a wild week of preseason action as the Las Vegas Raiders demolished the San Francisco 49ers (34-7), the New York Jets shutout the Carolina Panthers (27-0), and young quarterbacks like Stetson Bennett, Sean Clifford, and Malik Willis got significant playing time.
We had preseason action on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Are we going to add Monday to that list? Is Monday Night Football on tonight? Here’s everything you need to know.
Nope. Sadly, there’s no Monday Night Football game tonight.

Monday Night Football will primarily air on ESPN (and NFL+), but ABC and ESPN+ will also broadcast games throughout the season. Weeks 2, 3, and 14 offer doubleheaders, with Christmas Day delivering three games.
