Where to Stream:

MobLand

There’s a lot of fun stuff to watch on Paramount+ over Father’s Day weekend.

The streamer recently added the critically acclaimed Jack Quaid action comedy Novocaine, and don’t sleep on the platform’s stealthy selection of cult comedies (Review, Detroiters, Corporate, to name a few). Plus, you can’t go wrong with Taylor Sheridan favorites like Landman, 1923, or Lioness. But we’re to talk about Paramount+’s latest hit: MobLand.

The buzzy crime drama starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren centers on a fixer who finds himself in the middle of two warring crime families. The series earned positive reviews, and fans can’t wait for the next episode.

Is MobLand airing a new episode this week? Has MobLand been renewed for Season 2? Here’s everything we know.

Nope. MobLand isn’t airing a new episode for the foreseeable future. The season finale (“The Beast in Me”) premiered June 1 on Paramount+.

The first season of MobLand consists of ten episodes. If MobLand gets a second season, the premiere would be the 11th episode of the series.

There’s no official renewal information, but we’re optimistic about a second season. The series not only had the biggest global series premiere in Paramount+ history, but Tom Hardy told The Hollywood Reporter that the plan is to “definitely see more seasons.”

Pierce Brosnan also wants a second season, and executive producer David Glasser told Deadline that there will “definitely” be a Season 2 back in March.

Paramount tends to make us wait for official renewal announcements — Landman concluded in January but wasn’t officially renewed until March — so the lack of new information isn’t too concerning.

You can watch MobLand on Paramount+, which is available for as little as $7.99/month or $59.99/year. Paramount+ with Showtime, which includes a CBS live stream, is also an option for $12.99/month (or $119.99/year).

The streamer is currently offering a seven-day free trial as well as a 25% student discount.

You can add Paramount+ with Showtime to your Prime Video or Hulu account for an extra $12.99/month. You can sample the platform on Amazon with a seven-day free trial.
