NextImg:Is ‘Migration’ Streaming on Netflix or Disney+?

Universal Pictures is gearing up to release Migration a new animation focusing on a family of ducks that’s set to hit theaters just in time for the holidays. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new flick!

Featuring voiceovers from Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key and Danny DeVito, Migration follows the Mallard family as they stray from their safe pond and embark on a family trip down south for the winter.

So where can you stream Migration? Is it on Netflix? What about Disney+?

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

As of now, the only way to watch Migration is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Dec. 22. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon, or becomes available to stream on Peacock. Read on for more information.

Migration will come to Peacock for the first four months of the pay TV window, then will go to Netflix for the next 10 months, before returning to Peacock for the final four.

Since Universal movies like Cocaine Bear have come to Peacock around 45 days after their release, you can expect Migration to join the streamer as soon as early February 2024. However, other movies like Nope have taken a little longer to reach the streamer (more than 100 days) so it’s best to take this estimate with a grain of salt.

Yes, Migration will eventually be on Netflix. While a release date has not yet been announced, the movie will join the platform four months after it premieres on Peacock. It will stream on Netflix for 10 months, before going to back to Peacock for the remaining four months of the pay TV window.

No, Migration will not be on Disney+ since it will go to Peacock and Netflix following its theatrical run.
