It’s a cozy up on the couch kinda weekend because we have a lot to stream. There are new episodes of White Lotus and The Pitt on Max, the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion on Netflix, The Traitors Season 3 finale (and reunion) on Peacock, and new episodes of Severance, Daredevil: Born Again, Paradise, 1923, Doctor Odyssey, Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Suits LA. And I’m sure we’re forgetting a few.
So much TV, so little time.
One show that’s not on our above list is Taylor Sheridan’s incredibly popular Paramount+ series Landman. The Billy Bob Thornton-led drama aired ten episodes from November 2024 to January 2025, but fans are clamoring for more.
Will Landman be back for Season 2? Here’s everything we know.
Nope. The Season 1 finale of Landman (“The Crumbs of Hope”) premiered Sunday, January 12 on Paramount+.
The first season of the series consists of ten episodes.
You can watch Landman on Paramount+, which is available for as little as $7.99/month or $59.99/year. Paramount+ with Showtime, which includes a CBS live stream, is also an option for $12.99/month (or $119.99/year).
The streamer is currently offering a seven-day free trial as well as a 25% student discount.
You! bet. You can add Paramount+ with Showtime to your Prime Video or Hulu account for an extra $12.99/month. You can sample the platform on Amazon with a seven-day free trial.
Landman hasn’t been officially renewed for Season 2, but we’re almost certain it’ll return for another season. The beloved show was not only one of the most-watched streaming programs of 2024, but it also earned critical acclaim with a 78% Tomatometer score.
Landman star Demi Moore seemingly confirmed a second season while promoting The Substance in May 2024.
“I’ve already completed the first season and I’m excited for us to start the second, which will be at the beginning of next year,” Moore said during a talk at the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival.
Series lead Billy Bob Thornton said something similar to Entertainment Weekly in August 2024.
“I understand that if we’re going to do that, Season 2, that it’s going to be sometime around February, March, somewhere in there,” Thornton said.
Most recently, Elle asked Ali Larter if production had a timeline for the next season. After confirming that production does in fact have a timeline in place, she said: “Just announce it!”
Again, we don’t have any official confirmation, but we’re almost certain that Landman will be back for a second season.
