It doesn’t matter how many times they get attacked by dinosaurs, those silly geese in the Jurassic Park franchise just keep bringing them back. Jurassic World Rebirth—which opens in theaters ahead of the holiday weekend on Wednesday—is the fourth movie in the modern Jurassic World franchise, and the seventh Jurassic Park movie overall. And you better believe that, yet again, someone has the bright idea to go to the island with all the dinosaurs.
Directed by Gareth Edwards, and produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, Jurassic World Rebirth was penned by the original Jurassic Park co-writer David Koepp, who also wrote the 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Rebirth features a brand-new cast (bye bye Chris Pratt!) led by Scarlett Johansson, a covert op specialist who leads a dangerous mission to a remote, tropical location where the majority of dinosaurs now reside. It’s been five years since the events of Jurassic World Dominion, and humans and dinosaurs still haven’t figured out how to co-exist peacefully. C’mon, guys! Start a dialogue!
Also starring Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Ed Skrein, Jurassic World Rebirth will no doubt be a hit in theaters. But if you’d rather wait, here’s what we know about where and when we expect to be able to watch Jurassic World Rebirth on streaming.
Jurassic World Rebirth will only available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in the U.S. on Wednesday, July 2, in theaters nationwide. You can find a showing near you via Fandango. Jurassic World Rebirth is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.
Jurassic World Rebirth is not streaming on Netflix, and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that the film is a Universal release. Almost all Universal movies go to the NBCUniversal streaming platform, Peacock.
You will be able to purchase Jurassic World Rebirth on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream Jurassic World Rebirth for free on Prime Video any time soon, because it is not a Prime original movie. If you want to watch the Jurassic World Rebirth movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait for it to stream on Peacock.
Peacock currently offers two subscription types: Premium with ads and Premium Plus ad-free. Peacock Premium costs $7.99/month, while Premium Plus costs $13.99/month.
You can save a bit by subscribing to one of Peacock’s annual plans, which give you 12 months for the price of 10. These cost either $79.99 with ads or $139.99 without ads.

Jurassic World Rebirth is not yet streaming on Peacock. Right now, the movie is only in theaters, and the Jurassic World Rebirth streaming release date on Peacock has not yet been announced. That said, we do expect to see Jurassic World Rebirth streaming on Peacock eventually, but we’re not sure when. Another big action-adventure Universal release, Twisters, began streaming on Peacock about four months after the movie opened in theaters, and about three months after the film released on digital.
If Jurassic World Rebirth follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie on digital by August 2025, and streaming on Peacock around November 2025.
This is all speculation. Universal has not had a consistent digital release strategy. Many Universal movies go to Peacock after just three months in theaters. But given that Jurassic World is expected to be a big hit, we think it’s more likely to follow the Twisters release strategy. If you want to watch the Jurassic World Rebirth movie right away, your best bet is to catch the movie in theaters.
