The Nets claim the returning Cam Johnson may be like a godsend.

He just may not be a starter.

Johnson was one of the few bright spots in the Nets’ 114-106 loss to the Magic on Wednesday, his return to the court after missing the previous three games due to a sprained right ankle.

“We’re going to always look at what’s best for the team,” Nets interim coach Kevin Ollie said afterward. “I just thought he took care of his minutes, finished the game for us. … I loved his intensity and how he tried to win for our team.”
