We’re going to have to wait a bit longer to see Back to Black in the U.S. While the movie is releasing in the United Kingdom on Friday, April 12, it won’t premiere in U.S. theaters until Friday, May 17. When the time comes, you will be able to find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon, or becomes available to stream on Peacock. Yes, Back to Black will eventually come to Peacock. While the platform hasn’t announced an official streaming release date just yet, we can make a guess based on another recent Focus Features film.
Drive-Away Dolls, which debuted in theaters on Feb. 23, began streaming on Peacock on April 12 — about 45 days after its theatrical release. If Back to Black follows the same trajectory, it could become available on the streamer by late June or early July 2024.
