NextImg:Inside Shawn Johnson’s Nashville home transformation: Shop her furniture and decor

You needn’t bend over backwards to decorate your home like an Olympic gymnast.

Gold medalist Shawn Johnson gave her and husband Andrew East‘s Nashville home a major makeover this summer using products from Wayfair — many of which are available to shop for a steal.

“I just needed a fresh new start,” the mom of three said in a video released on Monday, showing off several rooms she completely redecorated.

“We have toddlers who are constantly coloring on everything so I wanted it to feel like a space you can truly live in and use.”

Below, explore the East family’s refreshed space — and shop their exact decor, furniture and lighting.

Johnson called the kitchen the “heart of our home,” saying, “I feel like we spend every waking second here.”

She upgraded the much-used space with a new dining room table and these easy-to-assemble midcentury modern bar stool chairs.

She also spotlighted several eye-catching lighting fixtures on the video tour, including this stylish beaded light pendant.

“I love texture [and] I love neutral colors so, I ordered a ton of it and it somehow works,” she said of her decorating scheme.

“We’re doing arts and crafts and science experiments … we’re constantly hosting,” Johnson added of the multi-use space, which is now equipped with this long wooden table.

The athlete isn’t the only one obsessed, as the table’s earned hundreds of five-star reviews on Wayfair.

“This coffee table is one of my favorites,” Johnson raved. “I loved finding a rounded coffee table. As a parent of toddlers, sharp corners are kind of scary.”

“This room was made for kids — we call it the TV room, the drawing room the collect-all room,” the gymnast says.
