Remi Bader was used as a human shield by a brazen Forever 21 thief in Times Square over the weekend.
The plus size influencer, who appeared in the fast fashion company’s holiday ad campaign, was filming content in the store when a shoplifter casually followed her outside with the stolen goods in hand.
“This man just shoplifted while I was filming using me as a shield pushing me saying go go go. I’m screaming!!!” she captioned a TikTok video Sunday.
In the wild clip, Bader, 28, held two paper shopping bags in hand while rocking a casual black sweatsuit.
She slowly walked toward the exit and began pushing the revolving door when a man scooted in behind her.
“Oh my god, sir,” the person behind the camera could be heard exclaiming.
In the caption, Bader added, “I cannot stop laughing but i’m also sooooo shooooook … Nothing ever normal happens to me lmaooo.”
Fans couldn’t help but laugh about the incident, which took place in the brand’s midtown Manhattan store.
“he saw his chance and TOOK IT! ????,” one fan wrote.
Another chimed in, “This is soooo funny ????.”
A third person wrote, “Omg you were literally stuck in the door with him ????.”
Meanwhile, fellow influencer Claudia Oshry commented, “I’ve watched this video no short of 50 times and it just gets funnier.”
On her Instagram Story, the content creator clarified that the thief took off into the night after exiting through the revolving door with her.
“He just simply ran away,” she wrote.

It comes a couple of months after the Victoria’s Secret Pink brand ambassador made headlines when she got emotional while discussing the horrible comments she received about her fluctuating weight.
“I try to not look at the really mean things online the best that I can because it really saves my mental health,” she said in a TikTok video in October.
“[But] there’s been a ridiculous amount of body-shaming … saying things like how much bigger I’ve gotten or how much weight I’ve gained,” she added.
“It’s really not fair to just see really mean, mean things. I’m taking care of myself the best that I can.”
