A Sydney, Australia influencer has gotten back at her husband after he allegedly “lied” to her about his activities during a recent work trip.
Indy Clinton, who boasts a following of 1.2 million on TikTok, discovered her husband Ben Azar had visited “a strip club and lied about it” while away for work, a friend of the 26-year-old told influencer watchdog account Dutch Minty.
“So, she took the kids and went to max out his credit card as payback,” the friend added.
Clinton, who has two children with Azar – son Navy and daughter Bambi – also posted a clip to TikTok of him looking remorseful, holding a bouquet of flowers.
“When he’s been in the doghouse for a week, I finally let him out,” she captioned the footage, set to “Who Let the Dogs Out.”
“The guilty face and handwritten letter,” one follower commented, to which Clinton responded: “He was so scared to walk over to me.”
“He looks so guilty,” wrote another.
“The things I’d do to read the letter,” said a third.
Azar, who previously dated P.E Nation co-founder Pip Edwards, and Clinton married in 2020.
Clinton made headlines last year when she outlined the five rules she’ll “never” enforce upon her kids – including physically disciplining them or forcing them to eat vegetables they don’t like.
“Let’s address the elephant in the room: discipline. I will never physically discipline my children. I was brought up with a belt and wooden spoon – and I don’t think that’s the right way,” she said in a video.
“I get back in the day they did it at schools and it was the thing to do but I’m speaking from first-hand experience, and I know that it doesn’t make a situation any better.
“If anything, it will give them lifelong trauma. If you do that it’s your choice but your child is defenseless.”
Clinton added she received comments “all the time on my posts saying ‘you need to smack [Navy]’, but that says more about you … I would be embarrassed writing that because it says you have some underlying problems”.
She also said she’d never force her child to show affection.
“If he doesn’t want to kiss or hug somebody, I will never force him. I don’t care if it’s family, he does not have to do it,” she said. “His body, his rules.”
