NextImg:I’m a therapist — this is the sign your relationship will end

It takes two to tango — and the same goes for your romantic relationship.

Jeff Guenther, a licensed therapist who goes by @therapyjeff on TikTok, shared a video detailing surefire signs a relationship will end.

The counselor boasts over 2.8 million followers on the platform and frequently posts relationship advice.

“As a therapist, I can almost guarantee a relationship won’t last if I see this one thing happening,” he wrote in the video which has 128,000 views since being posted on Thursday.

“If one partner is consistently putting in more work, more effort and more labor than the other,” he added.

“It’s going to tip the balance eventually.”

He said the partner putting in more work will have “resentment and anger” and the union won’t stand the test of time.

Furthermore, he said the partner putting in less effort will most likely be blindsided when the breakup happens.

“The partner who wasn’t putting in as much effort will be shocked,” he explained.

And fret not: he had a word of advice for his followers.

“So be honest with yourself, are you the one putting in less effort because if you don’t change it could spell doom,” he said.

His followers chimed in to share their relationship experiences in which one partner did all the heavy lifting.

“It’s exhausting constantly voicing your concerns because nothing is changing and they just sweep it under the rug for the 100th time,” one person said.

“Omg, this!!! this is a huge part why I left my ex-fiance because of this. no matter how I tried to communicate and be understanding, nothing changed,” someone shared.

“This was true for my relationship except I was the one putting in more effort and was shocked when my low-effort partner ended it,” a third admitted.
