NextImg:I’m a Hooters server — these are the comedic ‘bits’ I use for better tips

She really is a hoot.

TikTok user Charity Harris, from Missouri, is going viral for the comedic “bits” she says she employs to make better tips as a Hooters server.

“I like to tell people we’re out of water every time they order water. I’ll hit them with a, ‘Oh my god, no one told you? We just ran out of water,’” she starts the video, which has already attracted over 1.6 million views since it was uploaded last week.

The recent bikini contest runner-up explained that she has a special nickname for her male customers.

“Of course, a majority of dudes come in. I hit them with a ‘princess,’” she revealed. “Here you go, princess. Here’s your drink for you, princess.”

Instead of the flirtatious employee asking if her tables are doing OK, she says she asks, “Y’all missing me yet?”

“If it’s a big group of people, and one of the dudes says something sassy, I’ll hit him with a: ‘We’re fighting now. I’m not talking to you for the next two minutes,’” Harris continued.

And when her customers are ready for the check, it’s time to break the bad news. They “can’t leave.”

“When people ask for the tab, I always look at them and be like, ‘Oh my god, I didn’t tell you. I actually kind of like you guys, and I came to the conclusion you can’t leave. I’m sorry,” Harris playfully claimed, adding she does eventually give them their check.

Harris swears by one particular move to leave her customers with an unforgettable experience.

“Whenever I put in people’s food, I’ll be [like], ‘OK, in the meantime, if you need anything, just cacaw,’” she said, making the bird noise.

“I’ve actually had people cacaw, and it brings so much light to my life.”

Hundreds of TikTok users found Harris’ video to be hilarious, applauding her for her off-the-wall money-making maneuvers.

“Nah because light bullying with princess on the end gets em everytimeeeee,” one user wrote.

“It’s their WEAKNESS,” Harris replied.

“How many guys are into being called princess?” another asked.

“More than i can count on my hands loll buttt it all comes to the vibe you get before you do it,” Harris claimed.

“I know u get TIPS,” another supporter raved.

“Paying my rent one step at a time,” she wrote back.

“If my server did this at literally any restaurant, i’m falling in love and they’re my new favorite,” another person declared.

“I would fall in love,” another echoed.

Other self-proclaimed servers revealed their own crowd-favorite sarcastic bits.

“I’ll tell my tables to scream at me across the room if you need anything. one guy just yelled my name through the whole restaurant,” one recalled.

“My favorite bit as a server is handing the check to the baby/little kid at the table,” another shared.

“I call dudes ‘little lady,’ it’s a hit or miss honestly but at this point i can’t stop,” one admitted.

“When i worked there and I asked ranch or blue cheese i would always say ‘theres one right choice here!'” another wrote.

Meanwhile, other servers on TikTok swear by the “pigtail theory” to maximize tips.

Hannah Pemberton, 26, from Ohio, recently claimed wearing her hair in pigtails resulted in a male customer wanting to tip her a cruise.
