Some Halloween costumes are too hot to handle — but one getup a woman ordered quickly put out all flames.

Abbey Adams, a model who goes by @aabbeyaadams on TikTok, says she ordered a sexy firefighter costume for Halloween.

What she got was very different than what was advertised, according to a 2021 video that resurfaced just in time for the holiday.

“I’M SO SAD,” she captioned the 15-second clip, which has more than 3,500 views. 

“I’m literally crying … Oh, my God. OK. This is what I wanted, OK?” she says while laughing hysterically in a TikTok voiceover as she shows an image of a hip-hugging outfit with suspenders and a fire hat.

“This is what I got!” her voiceover continues as she reveals herself modeling an objectively cheaper-looking, loose-fitting ensemble.

Lifestyle website HelloGiggle scared some people online with their own surprise: they hawked a “period pants” Halloween costume consisting of red-stained white jeans topped with glitter. 

Another woman said her zombie costume became a medical nightmare when her fake zombie fangs stayed glued to her teeth and she had to see an emergency dentist to get them off.
