What’s better than a baby on a throne with their name on it?
Apparently not much, according to TikTok’s mommy influencers. The throne in question is Pottery Barn’s coveted Anywhere Chair – but it’s not the only kid-sized chair catching steam on the internet.
Look up something like “nursery aesthetic” and you’ll quickly find thousands of posts captioned, “My first anywhere chair!”
Social media star Abbie Herbert dubbed it her “most-used baby item.” Other moms are recording themselves unboxing it for their baby’s first birthday. Many swear it’s the perfect playroom essential, and some suggest it’s the best way to build a ‘reading corner’ for back-to-school. And, in case you’re wondering, it also doubles as a dog bed.

The best-selling seat is made with plush padding, lightweight fabric, and a kid-friendly handle, so your little one can easily tote it around the house. Sizes run from “My First” to “Oversized,” and Slipcovers range from polka-dot to rainbow. According to TikTok, monogramming is pretty much a requirement.
The whole set-up will put you down between $100 and $169, which may seem like a lot for a four to ten-pound foam chair.
But, one mom has found a way around — the Delta Children Personalized Sherpa Cozee Chair on Amazon — and it could very well dethrone the esteemed Anywhere Chair.
Delta Children has a deck of custom seating options below $100. The sherpa chair sits at just $89, while the smooth fabric version is currently priced at $79, and a unique, folding couch for just $82.
Content creator and toddler-mom, Courtney, was one of the first to discover the clones online.
“So, you know that chair from Pottery Barn that you can get your baby’s name on?” she asked her followers in a quick video.
She grabbed a large package while explaining that she had ordered a lookalike from Amazon before adding that she thinks, “it might be better.”
It didn’t take long for her husband to assemble it. Once it was in her hands, she knew she made the right call. “I love the color of this and I love that it’s sherpa,” Courtney exclaimed, showing off the light beige hue and textured fabric.
For this mom, the one thing that really set the Amazon option apart from the Pottery Barn style was the fact that the seat folds down into a bed, making it a perfect set-up for playing or sleeping. Plus, it’s also a lovely backdrop for photoshoots.
“She will be able to use this too as she gets older so it’s going to grow with her… it’s going to be so cute for pictures!”
Dozens of followers commented on the post, asking where she got it and admitting they might have been influenced to purchase one for their own kids.
“That’s so cute how it folds down!!! Now I’m torn… my son has the Pottery Barn one so I was going to get another but this one is so cute…” one fan supposed.
So while the Anywhere Chair isn’t going anywhere, the Delta Children Cozee Chair could very well be the new, hot chair on the market, especially with back-to-school shopping in full blow.
Delta Children’s Custom Cozee Sherpa Chair is quite similar to the coveted Anywhere Chair from Pottery Barn, but shoppers can score this build for under $100. Three color options are available, with a variety of font styles and colors to make it personal.

The Cozee Chair by Delta Children is light enough to move from room to room, and the soft slipcover is removable and machine-washable for easy cleaning. Choose from five popular colorways.

The Cozee Flip-Out Sherpa may be sold out, but the Serta Perfect Sleeper is still available and it can accommodate up to three kids — making it an excellent option for sleepovers.
