Breast friends forever?

If there was ever a time to cry over spilled milk: A Malaysian woman said she was traumatized after discovering that one of her friends had breastfed her baby multiple times behind her back.

She detailed the alleged busty betrayal in a TikTok video with over 2.9 million views.

“I didn’t expect that she could do such a thing,” the woman — who goes by Afieqahhasanah on TikTok — said in the video describing the “disheartening” incident, per AsiaOne.

The sordid event reportedly occurred earlier this month while the mother was with her child Haider at a family gathering.

As the woman had her hands full with event planning, she decided to leave the tot in the care of a friend.

“I was busy carrying things, and when I arrived, she asked me for Haider, so I just gave him [to her] because she was someone close to me,” explained Afieqahhasanah.

Little did she know, her friend had pulled a fast one when she wasn’t looking.

“Suddenly while I was carrying those things, I saw that she was, like, doing something at the back in an open hall,” the distraught parent described. “Turns out, she was breastfeeding Haider.”

When she confronted her breastie about the incident, the woman explained that she’d nursed Haider because he was “crying,” with the implication being that the tyke wanted food.

However, Afieqahhasanah found this excuse suspect given that she’d fed her son too long ago.

“I couldn’t accept her excuse and I don’t know … I’ll be haunted by this incident,” lamented the mortified mom. “Which mother can accept her baby being directly breastfed by someone else while the mother herself has breastmilk?”

Worst of all, this wasn’t the first time her friend allegedly played wet nurse to her son.

According to Afieqahhasanah, her mother caught the friend doing the deed again a little while later.

Needless to say, the woman said she had a “tough time shaking it off my mind.”

“It’s difficult for me to trust other people now,” she said. “I take good care of my children, ensuring that nobody randomly kiss or hug them because I’m afraid of them getting infected by diseases.”

Indeed, the American Academy of Pediatrics discourages women from informally sharing breast milk due to the risks of transmitting disease.

Imbibing extra-maternal mammary juice can also expose an infant to medications, alcohol, drugs or other contaminants, per the org.

In the event that women need to farm out the nursing process, the AAP recommends that mothers supplement their own breast milk with formula or use milk donated from a certified milk bank.

Despite the inherent risks, recent surveys have found that informal milk sharing is becoming increasingly en vogue.

In August, a TikTokker was slammed after revealing that she lets her friend breastfeed her baby so she could have drinks like a designated feeder.
