NextImg:I bought a ‘one size fits all’ Barbie Halloween costume — it was a major fail

This Barbie is tickled pink.

Destinee Stark had high hopes for a Mattel-inspired costume for Halloween — only to look like “damaged goods” when it arrived.

In a TikTok clip racking up 2.1 million views this month, the humored content creator burst into a fit of laughter after unveiling her Barbie-in-the-box costume that looked more crumpled than pristine.

“When they claim the costume is ‘one size fits all,'” she wrote on the video, which showed the costume’s packaging that featured a model sporting the wearable Mattel box.

The video shows Stark trudging into frame in the ill-fitting accessory attempting to keep a straight face while peering through the wrinkled plastic panel.

“I’m damaged Barbie,” she proclaimed through giggles.

“The most honest thing is that I’m damaged goods,” she quipped.

Her followers were just as amused.

“You just need a big sticker for the top that says reduced/ slight damage,” suggested one viewer.

“‘Damaged Barbie’ would be the perfect costume for me this year,” joked another.

The costume, available at retailers like Party City for a meager $35, is an adult-sized replica of the hallmark Superstar Barbie packaging meant to emulate a “fresh-off-the-shelf look.”

Barbie and Ken are expected to be some of the hottest cosplay costumes on Halloween this year after the film’s blockbuster success, with one Utah neighborhood banning together to recreate the flick’s iconic Barbieland cul-de-sac.

The block’s creative Halloween decor included recreations of Ken’s Mojo Dojo Casa House, Barbie’s Dreamhouse and more, attracting the attention of movie fans who flocked to see the impressive designs.

They caused so much hubbub that local police were forced to shut down roads to allow eager onlookers a peek at the pink-drenched festivities.

But for those looking for something less mainstream for Halloween, The Post compiled a list of headline-inspired looks from the year’s hottest headlines and viral trends, including Toco the human collie, a Parisian bed bug, a nepo baby and the bear in a China zoo that people swore was a human incognito.
