Now this is titanically awkward.
A woman who adopted a dog from Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone at the start of the pandemic recalled the uncomfortable incident when she mistakenly asked 25-year-old Morrone if her boyfriend Leo, 48, was her father.
Los Angeles native Neda Mazd posted about the embarrassing moment on her friend’s TikTok in mid-March and has since gained 82,000 views.
“Just LA things,” reads the video’s caption.
Mazd, who was living with her father in Malibu at the time and wanted to expand her family, explained in the video that she was in contact with a shelter that connected her with DiCaprio and Morrone.
However, she said she had no idea who she was fostering from.
“This was one of those celebrity shelters where you have to foster before you can adopt,” Mazd explained.
Mazd said she and her father were invited to visit “The Great Gatsby” star’s Beverly Hills home, which he shared with Morrone, to meet her future pups.
“We drove from Malibu all the way to Beverly Hills and there were security guards everywhere,” explained Mazd. “There was a security guard gatehouse at the house and my dad and I were like ‘Where are we?’ and my dad was like ‘Oh no don’t worry, it’s security for the whole neighborhood.”
Mazd, however, wasn’t convinced.
“I was like ‘Oh, ok. That makes sense, everyone has security,'” continued the woman.
Upon arriving at the front door, Mazd and her father were greeted by Morrone who said that couple had a boy and a girl dog and were trying to decide which one to keep.
Due to Morrone’s age, Mazd assumed that she lived still lived with her parents and was just helping out. Plus, there were signs of wealth all over the property.
“They had Teslas everywhere, Erewhon bags everywhere like super bougie,” said Mazd. “And like tennis court, full water fountain and swimming pool.”
The TikToker then spotted “The Wolf of Wall Street” star in the backyard.
“There is this guy with a dad bod and baseball cap on and literally looks like he’s 45 to 50 couldn’t figure out his age,” explained Mazd. “And he was obviously trying to be inconspicuous and I look at her and I’m like ‘Oh, is that your dad’ because he’s waving at me.”
“And she was like looked at me weirdly and was like ‘No, that’s my boyfriend,'” continued Mazd. ” And my dad and I are sitting there like ‘Oh, yes of course’ and I am literally so confused because he is literally 20 years older than her.”
After adopting her new puppy, Mazd finally realized who the couple was.
“I was like ‘Who is this girl?’ so I go to look her up [on Instagram] and she has a blue verified check and has over two million followers,” gushed Mazd. “She’s a model, influencer all this stuff and I look up her boyfriend and it’s Leo DiCaprio. That dude who I thought was her father.”
The girl revealed that “The Revenant” star adopted the girl dog and was invited back to the house for doggy play dates.

The Post reached out to Mazd, DiCaprio and Morrone for comment.
DiCaprio and Morrone started dating in 2017 and spent four years together before breaking up in 2022.
Since then, DiCaprio has been slammed for his interest in younger women, with several people calling the age gap “predatory.”
Several TikTokers were amazed by Mazd’s story.
“This is wild,” one person said.
“This story is crazy. I love the tea,” commented another. “I’m surprised they didn’t make you sign an NDA though.”
“What an LA story,” chimed in another. “I absolutely love it.”
But not everyone believed the tale, with at least one user questioning the authenticity of the story.
“I have a hard time believing you didn’t recognize Leo in person,” they wrote. “Pretty uncanny, also very doubtful he had strangers come to their personal home.”
