It’s shaping up to be a special holiday season for Travis Kelce.
With the Chiefs set to host the Raiders on Christmas Day on Monday — not to mention brother Jason Kelce’s Eagles taking on the Giants that same afternoon — the two-time Super Bowl champ is looking to being with his extended family: Chiefs Kingdom.
“It’s always a luxury playing for Kansas City — home and away,” Kelce recently told People of Chiefs fans, many of whom will likely be making their way to Arrowhead Stadium for gameday.
As for whether or not that will include the newest member of the fan base, Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift, remains to be seen.
“The kingdom always travels,” Kelce said. “We always travel well.”
Swift, 34, who has been seeing Kelce, also 34, since the summer, has attended seven Chiefs games this season, most recently on Sunday when she ventured to New England for Kansas City’s 27-17 win over the Patriots.
She was joined in a suite at Gillette Stadium by her dad, Scott Swift and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
With the Kelce brothers scattered this Christmas, the All-Pro tight end shared the NFL family will have belated celebrations.
“My brother sent me a text and said he’s going to be celebrating afterward,” Kelce said of Jason, who shares three daughters with wife Kylie Kelce.
Kelce, who intends to celebrate after Monday’s contest or the following day, per People, is enjoying the Chiefs’ recent victory lap after shaking off their two-game skid.
The team now enters Monday’s AFC West matchup at 9-5 and is the third seed in the AFC playoff race.
Kansas City will host the Bengals on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) before closing out the regular season on the road against the Chargers on Jan. 7.
As for Swift, she is on hiatus from her blockbuster “Eras Tour” until early 2024.
