Yesterday kicked off the quarterfinals, the first round of the knockout stage in Copa America 2024. Unlike the group stage which relied on multiple games and a point ranking system, for the eight countries remaining (of the original sixteen) their next match will determine who advances to the semifinals and has a shot at winning the cup.

To secure a spot in the quarterfinals, Venezuela won all three games in Group B. With six goals in three matches, the Venezuelan team left with a +5 point differential.

Canada placed second to Argentina in Group A, managing to secure a spot in the quarterfinals with a 1-0 win against Peru. The Canadian team left the group stage with a -1 point differential, being outscored 2-1 in the Copa America thus far.

In simpler terms, Venezuela is favored to win against Canada in their quarterfinal matchup. However, anything can happen. We do know that it will be an exciting game!

Tonight’s game airs on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), but DIRECTV Stream and more will carry the game at a discount or free entirely with a new subscription.

Kickoff for Venezuela and Canada is set for tonight, July 5, at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Venezuela vs. Canada is airing on FS1, so if you have cable, all you’ll have to do is turn FS1 on at 9:00 p.m. tonight or fire up the Fox Sports app and log in with your cable credentials.

If you just plan on watching the quarterfinals tonight, DIRECTV Stream is a live TV streaming service with a five-day free trial for all plans starting at $79.99/month.

If you’re planning on watching the rest of the tournament, the most cost-effective way to stream every remaining match of the 2024 Copa America is without taking advantage of a free trial at all.

You won’t get any days for free, but you will save over $40/month.

Sling TV’s Blue plan includes FS1, and right now, you can get your first month for 50% off. Instead of $45, you’ll pay $22.50 — and all you’ll need is that one-month subscription to watch the entire tournament through the July 14 final match.

For those dying to see a game live, Copa America 2024 is happening in the US right now! Venezuela and Canada will face off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Tickets to watch the Venezuela vs. Canada quarterfinal game and many others are being sold on Vivid Seats.
