As the Olympics wind down, it’s time for the basketball semifinals.
Team USA punched their ticket to the semifinals in a 122-87 win over Brazil that was dominated by 76ers center Joel Embiid. Captain LeBron James was taken out of the game following an elbow to the face that led to four stitches above James’ eye. He’s expected to play in today’s game following the injury.
Their opponent today, Serbia, is one they’ve already faced in the group round, and in that meeting, Team USA put up a 110-84 victory.
No matter the result today, Team USA men’s basketball will play for a medal — the question is just, which color will it be?

If you want to watch the Team USA basketball semifinal for free, consider signing up for live TV streaming services that offer free trials and carry USA Network. We recommend DIRECTV Stream, which comes with a five-day free trial.
The official streaming home of the 2024 Olympics is Peacock, the streaming service from NBCUniversal. This year, Peacock is broadcasting over 5,000 hours of live coverage, which includes all 329 medal events and every single event leading up to them. This, of course, includes the US men’s basketball quarterfinal with the same feed and announcers as the USA Network broadcast.
If you miss the game live, you’ll be able to watch a full replay on Peacock as well.
Peacock costs $7.99/month with ads and $13.99/month without ads, and since the Olympics wrap up on August 11, you’ll only need one month to watch the entire 2024 Games.
The closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics will take place on August 11 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
