The team is currently off to an undefeated 7-0 start, matching the current franchise-best from 1997. The defending champs could make it 8-0 tonight, setting a new record. At this point in the new season, just two teams are still undefeated, the Minnesota Lynx, who added another win on Tuesday to make their record 8-0, and the Liberty.

Tonight, the Liberty will face the 3-5 Mystics and newly minted WNBA rookie of the month Kiki Iriafen. Iriafen, the 4th overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft, is the first player in Mystics history to win a rookie of the month honor.

The two teams have already met once this season. On May 30, the Liberty beat the Mystics 85-63.
