After two big losses to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, the Minnesota Timberwolves came back in a big way during Game 3; now, they’ll try to even the series up in Game 4.

In Saturday’s Game 3, Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards had 30 points, nine rebounds and six assists in just three quarters. That propelled the team to a commanding 143-101 victory over the Thunder.

During the blowout loss, the Thunder were never closer than 22 points after early in the second quarter. Newly minted MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put up 14 points on 4-for-13 shooting with four turnovers, and was benched with 4:25 in the third quarter.

After the game, Gilgeous-Alexander called out his team’s lack of energy, saying “We got punched in the mouth today. Next game, we’re either going to get back up or not, and we’ll lose the game. We have a decision to make, for sure.”
