It’s Week 2 of the 2023-24 NFL season, which means it’s officially time for the season debut of Thursday Night Football on Prime Video.
Tonight, September 14, the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings will face off in the first Prime Video match of the season.
The Eagles, who made it all the way to the Super Bowl last season, won their Week 1 match against the Patriots 25-20, so they’re looking to continue that momentum and make their record 2-0.
After losing their first game of the season 20-17 to the Buccaneers, the Vikings could net their first win of the season tonight.

If you’re not already an Amazon Prime subscriber, you’re going to need to sign up to watch tonight’s game. Luckily, it’s simple and can be done in just a few steps. Once you’re on Amazon, you’ll pick a subscription plan (monthly for $15/month, yearly for $139/year, or a special membership like Prime Student), enter your payment details, and voila!
See, we told you it was easy!
If you just want Prime Video without all of the other Amazon Prime perks, like two-day shipping and exclusive discounts, you can subscribe to the standalone service for $9/month.
Yes! If you’re not already an Amazon Prime member, a new subscription automatically comes with a 30-day free trial that includes Prime Video access. So, not only can you watch tonight’s game for free, you can watch the next four (!) Thursday Night Football games before you pay a dime.
Coverage on Prime Video begins at 7:00 p.m. ET ahead of an 8:15 p.m. kickoff.
The Vikings and Eagles will face off on the Eagles’ home turf: Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.
If you find yourself wanting to catch the game in person, tickets start at $146.00 on Vivid Seats.
NFL.com‘s panel of editors unanimously chose the Eagles to come out on top during tonight’s game. However, three key players have been ruled out for tonight’s game: running back Kenneth Gainwell, cornerback James Bradberry and safety Reed Blankenship. Bradberry is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol, while the other two players are dealing with rib injuries.
While the Vikings aren’t favored, quarterback Kirk Cousins won his last three Thursday night tilts (however, his primetime record is still a losing one, at 11-18), and last week, the 35-year-old was one of only five QBs in the league to go for more than 300 yards in last week’s games.
