


Improbable comebacks are one of the biggest storylines of the 2025 NBA Playoffs, and the Indiana Pacers pulled another one off on Thursday to steal Game 1 of the NBA Finals from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Down by 15 with less than 10 minutes to go in the fourth quarter, the Pacers got to work, mounting a double-digit rally and capping things off with a buzzer beater from Tyrese Haliburton to win the game 111-110.

Despite the end result, the Thunder were in control for most of Game 1, but still find themselves down 0-1 in the series. Tonight’s game is the last guaranteed home game of the series for the Thunder (but if a Game 5 is needed, they’ll play at home). During the second round of this year’s playoffs, the Thunder also dropped Game 1 of the series against Denver, but came back to win the series in seven games.
