The Open, also known as the British Open, features much of the world’s top golf talent, including the No. 1 and No. 2 golfers worldwide, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, respectively. McIlroy, a Northern Irishman, is returning to a golf club near his own hometown for this year’s Open.

Both golfers have multiple tour wins and each has captured a major title this season, Scheffler at the PGA and McIlroy at the Masters, making them favorites to win the title at Royal Portrush as the PGA season approaches its endpoint.
