Feeling like you’re at your break(ing) point trying to figure out how to watch this year’s French Open? Stuck watching Challengers in the meantime to get your tennis fix? (I mean, no complaining here!) Anyway, we are here to help!

The annual tournament kicked off on Sunday (May 25) and is taking place until next Thursday, June 5. Among those representing the U.S. at Roland-Garros are Coco Gauff, Taylor Fritz (although he’s already out of the tourney after a Round 1 loss), Jessica Pegula, Emma Navarro, Marcos Giron, and Brandon Nakashima.

While the French Open, played at Roland Garros Stadium, stretches back to 1925, the “French Clay-Court Championships” started all the way back in 1891, though was only open to French players at the time, per the Roland-Garros website.

According to Sports Illustrated, Spanish tennis phenom Carlos Alcaraz won last year’s French Open, and is back competing in this year’s tournament. However, he holds the #2 ranking in this year’s player pool, with Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner ranking #1.

Tennis fans in the U.S. can tune in to the 2025 French Open on TNT Sports for live content, per the Roland-Garros website, in addition to truTV and Max, in the U.S. The website also provides information by region. Cable channels like TNT, ESPN, and truTV can be accessed via live TV services such as Sling TV and Hulu + Live TV.

If you’re new to Max, you can sign up for as low as $9.99/month with ads, but an ad-free subscription will cost $16.99/month.

If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the discounted Disney+ Bundles with Hulu and Max. With ads, the bundle costs $16.99/month and without ads, $29.99/month.

You can also check the status of past, live, and upcoming matches on the Roland-Garros website, too.
