It’s time for culture’s biggest night!

The BET Awards, honoring the best Black music, TV, movies, and sports of the past year, are tonight, June 9. Kevin Hart will host the ceremony for the second time.

This year, Kendrick Lamar leads all nominees with 10; Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla are not far behind with six nominations each.

In addition to the 21 awards being presented tonight, the Ultimate Icon Award will be given to Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin. Carey, Franklin, and Snoop are also set to perform.

The main show will also feature performances from Lil Wayne, Teyana Taylor, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, and Leon Thomas.

If you don’t have a cable subscription with access to BET, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to watch the BET Awards for free. We recommend Philo, which comes with a seven-day free trial before $28/month payments begin.

You can also take advantage of a five-day free trial from DIRECTV to watch the 2025 BET Awards.
