Grant Ellis’ journey to find love begins tonight on the 29th season of “The Bachelor.”

Ahead of the new season premiere, Ellis told Decider, “the women were so great this season, that the choice was difficult,” but in the end, “expect a lot of fun, [and] a little bit of drama” leading up to the series finale.

Ellis is no stranger to the series; he finished in fifth place during the last “Bachelorette” season, when Jenn Tran sent him home in Week 6.

The former professional basketball player’s season will begin “with a bold, new twist on the traditional first impression rose,” per ABC.

Here’s everything you need to know to tune in to Season 29 of “The Bachelor.”

Season 29 of “The Bachelor” premieres today, January 27, at 8:00 p.m. ET. New episodes will air weekly on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The only way to watch the premiere of “The Bachelor” Season 29 live without cable is by using a live TV streaming service. We recommend DIRECTV Stream, which comes with a five-day free trial and includes ABC in its base plan.

fuboTV and Hulu + Live TV are two other excellent live TV streaming choices; both come with a free trial (seven days and three days, respectively) and ABC is included in base plans.

Sling TV is another option for those looking to stream “The Bachelor” episodes live. ABC is part of the Sling Blue plan, which you can currently get for 50% off your first month. After paying $25.50 today, each subsequent month will cost $50.99.

Yes, but Hulu subscribers won’t be able to watch new episodes of “The Bachelor” at the same time they air on ABC. New episodes of “The Bachelor” Season 29 drop on Hulu at 5:00 a.m. ET on Tuesdays.

Grant Ellis is back on TV after being in fifth place on Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette.” He was announced to be the next bachelor immediately following his elimination.

Ellis is a 31-year-old day trader from Newark, N.Y. who played professional basketball overseas for four years before an injury ended his career. He is the second Black “Bachelor” lead in the series’ history after Matt James.

“When he’s not immersed in the fast-paced world of finance, you can find him cheering on the Lakers, hitting strikes at the bowling alley, or belting out tunes at karaoke nights,” per ABC.

The show’s website continues, “As the Bachelor, Ellis is eager to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure, and genuine connections. He hopes to find a partner who shares his values of loyalty, humor and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.”
