The iconic New Year’s Day tradition known as the Rose Parade airs January 1 on ABC!

Coming to you from Pasadena, California, talented multi-hyphenate Audra McDonald will serve as the Grand Marshal of the event, and David Archuleta, Rush Davis, Cassadee Pope, and Michelle Williams will kick off the fun with an electric opening musical performance.

This year’s theme — “Celebrating a World of Music: The Universal Language” — will be on full display as former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will sing a three-song medley, and the a cappella group Straight No Chaser will perform on the Enjoy Illinois float. Plus, Sean Ardoin, James Burton, and Amanda Shaw will also be on hand to provide one of the largest performances in the parade.

The 2024 Rose Parade airs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
