It was an interesting day at the track yesterday, and today, eight more gold medals will be handed out.

Team USA brought home a few gold medals thanks to Grant Holloway in the 110m hurdles, Tara Davis-Woodall in the long jump, and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone breaking her own world record in the 400m hurdles. Nonbinary runner Nikki Hiltz qualified for the 1500m final tomorrow, and Team USA track star Noah Lyles found his Olympics cut short following a COVID diagnosis (but he still took home the bronze in the 200m).
Today, Sha’Carri Richardson returns to the track in the anchor position of the 4x100m relay. The Team USA women haven’t medaled in this event since 2004, but are looking to change that today.
