Welcome to the end of the beginning, readers.
The final game of the first round of March Madness is nearly here. But don’t cry because the first round is over. Smile, because there’s still so much of the NCAA Tournament ahead.
Better yet, the final matchup of round one should be a good one. This evening, the 5th-seeded Oregon Ducks will take on the 12th-seeded Liberty Flames. Upsets are, of course, possible, especially given these team’s records.
The Flames are one of the best shooting teams in the NCAA, but they’ll face fierce competition against the favored Ducks.
Will round one finish in an upset? Or will Oregon prevail? There’s only one way to find out.
Oregon plays Liberty in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament today, March 21. Tip-off at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle is set for 10:10 p.m. ET.
The Oregon vs. Liberty game is airing on truTV. If you don’t have cable or an antenna, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to watch the game.
Here are two cable replacement streaming services that we recommend, both of which come with free trials.
You can also watch the NCAA Tournament on Sling TV with the Sling Blue plan. Though there’s no free trial, you’ll get 50% off your first month of the base plan, bringing the total down to $25.50 for the first month ($50.99/month after).
The game will also stream live on Max Standard ($16.99/month) with the Bleacher Report Sports add-on included. BR Sports streams games on TBS, TNT, and truTV live for Max subscribers.
