Week 1 of college football is here and one of the top teams in the Big Ten is starting their season against a team they’ve never faced before. The Nevada Wolf Pack head east to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions at home.
Penn State is coming into this season ranked third in the US LBM Coaches Poll and one of the favorites to win the Big Ten Conference. A majority of the roster is made up of returning players, including senior quarterback Drew Allar. Entering his third year as starter, Allar is one of nine returning FBS quarterbacks with 6,300+ passing yards and 53+ passing touchdowns in their career.
The Wolf Pack is in a major state of rebuilding. Just one defensive starter has returned from last season, when they went 3-10 (including an 0-7 record in Mountain West play), and there are over 50 new players on the roster this year.
Here’s what you need to know to tune in to Nevada vs. Penn State today.
Kickoff for the Nevada vs. Penn State game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET today, Aug. 30.
