The MLB All-Star break got started yesterday when Seattle’s Cal Raleigh won the Home Run Derby with 18 homers in the final round, for a total of 54 over three rounds. Tonight, it’s time for the Midsummer Classic.
The 2025 MLB All-Star Game gets started at 8 p.m. ET tonight with some of baseball’s brightest stars on the field and the bench. Both the National League and the American League’s starting position players were determined by fan vote, and the starting lineups will represent both New York teams.
The AL’s leading vote-getter Aaron Judge will start at right field, while the Mets’ shortstop Francisco Lindor will start an All-Star Game for the first time in his career. Judge and Lindor aren’t the only players representing New York City on the All-Star roster. From the Yankees, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Max Fried, and Carlos Rodón all got All-Star nods; Mets Pete Alonso, Edwin Díaz, and David Peterson will represent Queens in Atlanta.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone will manage the American League team, with Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts on the bench for the National League.
Here’s everything you need to know to tune in to the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.
The 2025 MLB Home Run Derby is tonight, July 15, at 8 p.m. ET. It will air on Fox.
If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream the Midsummer Classic for free. One option we love is DIRECTV, which comes with five days free and starts at $59.99/month, with plenty of subscription options that include Fox.
You can also take advantage of a free trial of fuboTV (seven days) or Hulu + Live TV (three days).
