Blumhouse Television and Kevin Bacon have teamed up for a new limited series, The Bondsman, which began streaming today on Prime Video.
The actor horror show stars Bacon as Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter resurrected by the devil to hunt demons that have escaped the clutches of Hell and bring them back.
Halloran works with his mom Kitty (Beth Grant), and keeps a close eye on his ex-wife Maryanne (Jennifer Nettles) as he faces his own demons, in addition to the ones he hunts down.
The series blends classic Blumhouse horror with a strong theme of country music woven in. Three original songs, written by Bacon and Nettles (who is one half of country duo Sugarland), are featured in the series, but the pair will release an album with more songs they wrote but were cut from the show. Titled The Bondsman: Hell and Back, the companion album will be released tomorrow, April 4.
