Kelly Clarkson is giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at some of today’s biggest hits.

The pop star is putting a long-form spin on her “Songs & Stories” talk show segment with a new four-part NBC special, featuring performances and interviews with fellow high-profile musicians.

Read on for everything you need to know to catch all the episodes for free.

“Songs & Stories” premieres on NBC at 10 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 19, 2025. The following three episodes will air at 10 p.m. ET on August 26 and September 2 and September 9, respectively.

Since “Songs & Stories” is an NBC show, you’ll need either satellite, cable or a live TV streaming service that gets the network.

Luckily for cord-cutters, DirecTV Stream offers a five-day free trial for new users (after which prices start at $49.99/month). In addition to NBC, it includes other premium channels like Bravo, E! and ESPN.

If you don’t mind waiting a day, each episode will hit Peacock the day after it airs. (While the streaming service no longer offers a free trial, plans start at $7.99/month.)

The Jonas Brothers are the focus of the premiere episode, while the following installments are dedicated to Gloria Estefan, Teddy Swims and Lizzo.

“Music shaped not only our sounds but our connections to others,” Nick Jonas said in a trailer for the show, which sees him and his brothers performing an acoustic version of “Sucker.”

In addition to swapping stories, the artists will all share the stage with Clarkson and her band.

“There’s a story behind every song,” the talk show host says in the trailer.
