After opening the 2025 NFL season with two games on the road, the New York Giants are coming home.
They’ll also get a national spotlight during their only Sunday Night Football appearance of the season, when the Kansas City Chiefs visit this evening.
The Giants are coming off a 37-40 loss to the Cowboys last Sunday; they were ahead as the clock ran out, but a last minute Cowboys field goal led to overtime and the Giants recorded their second loss of the season thanks to another Cowboys field goal.
Also beginning the season 0-2 are the Kansas City Chiefs. It marks the first time they’ve opened a season 0-2 in the Mahomes era, so the reigning AFC Champions are under pressure to record a win and avoid starting out 0-3.
Here’s how to tune in to Sunday Night Football without cable.
Today’s (Sept. 20) Giants-Chiefs game is scheduled to kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET.
If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream the Chiefs vs. Giants Sunday Night Football matchup for free. One option we love is DIRECTV, which comes with five days free and starts at $49.99/month, with plenty of subscription options and genre packs that include NBC.
You can also watch the game for free with a Peacock free trial (seven days, then $16.99/month).
Underdog is where football fans become winners.
