NextImg:How to watch Dodgers vs. Brewers in Game 2 of 2025 NLCS for free

The defending world champion Los Angeles Dodgers have a one-game lead in the NLCS following a Game 1 win against the Milwaukee Brewers thanks, in part, to 10 strikeouts from starting pitcher Blake Snell.

One of the highlights of last night’s Game 1 was a bizarre 8-6-2 double play where center fielder Sal Frelick caught, and subsequently lost and re-caught, a fly ball. He then threw to shortstop Joey Ortiz, who whipped it around to catcher William Contreras in time to tag Teoscar Hernandez out at home plate.

Even with the run-robbing chaotic double play, the Dodgers still emerged victorious in the 2-1 win.

Dodgers vs. Brewers, game 2: what to know

After tonight’s game, the series moves to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4.

Here’s how to watch to Game 2 of the NL Championship Series between the Brewers and the Dodgers without cable.

Dodgers vs. Brewers is scheduled to begin at 8:08 p.m. ET tonight, Oct. 14.

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream the MLB playoffs on TBS for free. One option we love is DIRECTV, which comes with a five-day free trial and starts at $59.99/month for genre packs, with plenty of subscription options and genre packs that include TBS (we recommend the Sports Genre Pack!).

If you aren’t ready to commit to a full-on subscription, you can try a Sling Orange Day Pass. Priced at $4.99, you’ll get 24 hours of access to all Sling TV Orange has to offer, including TBS. Sling also offers a week-long pass for its Orange plan, which costs $14.99 for seven days of access.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start Game 2 for the Dodgers. It marks the ace’s third start of the playoffs; he allowed three runs to the Phillies in four-plus innings during the NLDS after allowing two unearned runs against the Reds across 6 2/3 innings in the NL Wild Card series.

The Brewers’ most consistent starter, Freddy Peralta, will be on the mound for Game 2. He’s 4-2 with a 3.29 ERA in eight career starts against the Dodgers, two of which came this season.
